Snigdha coord, also known as Snigdha Samavaya, is a concept in Ayurveda that refers to the harmonious combination of different qualities or properties in a substance or medicine. In Sanskrit, "snigdha" means oily, unctuous, or smooth, and "coord" means combination or mixture. According to Ayurveda, everything in the universe is made up of a unique combination of the five elements – space, air, fire, water, and earth. These elements manifest in the form of three doshas, or energies, known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each dosha has its own set of qualities, and an imbalance in these qualities can lead to health issues. The concept of snigdha coord focuses on balancing the qualities of the doshas in a substance or medicine to achieve therapeutic effects.
